Your support provides tuition, schools supplies, clothing, food, and most importantly, the love of Christ that is so desperately needed. 100% of every dollar donated to monthly child sponsorship goes directly to the child or project.
Provide for individual needs on a one-time basis
Give a One-time GiftThere are many needs that do not require a long term commitment. A child’s family might have various needs such as: a roof, a water purification system, livestock, a rickshaw, a toilet, or medical attention. With your help, a family may be able to purchase a water buffalo to help them work their fields and provide milk for the family.
Support Promise Child general funds on a monthly basis
Support General Funds MonthlyThere are many behind-the-scenes costs that go into running an international ministry. Office supplies, traveling expenses, and postage are just a few of the expenses that we must cover. Supporting general funds monthly allows our staff to keep things running smoothly. Sponsorship of general funds allows 100% of all monthly funds donated to child sponsorship to go directly to the children and their families. General funds are also used to provide for many of the one-time needs Promise Child families have. If a monthly child sponsor has to suddenly stop monthly support, the child is sponsored out of general funds until a new sponsor is found.
Go on a mission trip with Promise Child
1) Promise Child can facilitate training a short-term mission trip from your church or small group. Our staff will cover many of the needed topics to prepare your group for a successful trip. Some of the many topics include: fundraising, passports, immunizations, cultural information and taboos, spiritual warfare, religious differences, preaching the Gospel effectively, culture shock, trip itinerary, travel schedules, and much more. These training times are also used to promote team unity and to prepare your group to work effectively together and be ready for the challenges that may lie ahead. 2) A Promise Child staff member can join one of your short-term mission groups. Promise Child is continually looking for new opportunities to bless needy families and children throughout the world. By joining your church in the work that has already been started in many needy countries, we may be able to partner with you in using your established contacts. For example, if your church is currently doing a work in Honduras, and you would like to work with your contacts to bring Promise Child into Honduras, we would travel with your group, establish a relationship, and then your church would then become a Promise Child Honduras church.

3) As a ministry, we take several trips a year to our Promise Child countries. These trips always include a minimum of two people being sent out. If you would like to come and see what God is doing in our established countries, consider joining one of our teams.

Putt For Promise
Our 6th annual “Putt For Promise” golf tournament on September 30, 2011, will help provide the much needed general funds for the ministry. This is an event that is great for golfers of all skill levels. On course games, refreshments, contests, raffles, a wonderful banquet, and a slide presentation about the children of Promise Child are all included in this fun day in the sun. Come and join us. Putt for Promise
Piggy For Promise
“Piggy For Promise” is a fundraiser for all ages. However, our primary goal for this fundraiser is to educate children about poverty, not only in third-world countries, but right here in America as well. Through an age appropriate slide presentation, children are challenged to get involved and to live out their faith by filling a piggy bank with change. This fun activity allows them to see how, at a young age, they can affect the lives of others by giving freely and openly. Oftentimes, when a class or group sees how much can be purchased for such a small amount, they are excited to get involved. A class can raise enough to buy a water buffalo, livestock, bicycles, clothing, blankets, and much more.

Boutique For Promise
One of the most fun things about traveling the world is being able to see all the wonderful arts, crafts, and clothing that the different cultures have. The Promise Child boutique provides you with a unique shopping experience offering a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items such as jewelry, purses, clothing, and art. We use this fundraiser to not only provide for Promise Child’s general fund, but also to give you the opportunity to learn more about the cultures we work with.
